Recently I went home for Christmas and went through Palermo as it was the easiest way given the plane times. As usual since I injured my back I had to book assistance and I was positively impressed with the friendliness and professionalism. Not so much impressed with how dirty the elevator to the plane was but that's not the assistance staff's fault.
Overall highly recommend.
